Re: Data master log

What mods have been done to the truck?

Thanks for taking the time to keep looking at this, I'll get it at some point. Not much has been done its pretty much stock except I did an RPM style "cold air intake" it has a walbro fuel pump, hot wired intercooler pump and a 160 thermostat. I was hoping it was false knock but it only really knocks when I actually get into boost, so that looks discouraging.

The o2 mv are everywhere from 0-1000 could that be a cause of the rich code 45?

My plan was to run some 110 octane leaded racing fuel through it tomorrow to see if the knock goes down. Or at least while using the search key that's usually suggested. But me and my dad were both hesitant witj the leaded part.

Thanks for the help

Leaded gas?? I'm pretty sure your 02 sensor will be toast after you do that. :dunno:

I would suspect a vacuum leak. Your vacuum is low at idle - a leak that involves your FPR will cause low fuel pressure and thus knock.... I'd go over every vac line with a fine-tooth comb.
I'll look at it a bit more tomorrow.

I just thought of this but I did a compression test and when the distributor was unhooked and I cranked it after cranking there was a large hiss (air leak I assumed) from behind the block in the fpr/distributor area. I. Looked but couldn't locate where it was coming from. Ill try looking into that more tomorrow
