Is there any benefits in cryo eagle h beam rods?

I am getting my crank cyro treated and the guy asked if I also want the rods cryo. I said yes, don't think it can hurt anything or could it?

Thanks

I don't see it being a negative thing at all.

How much HP are you planning on?

As much as I can!

I am doing the standard build ,stock block 30over, 4bolt main, stock crank cyro, eagle rods, JE piston, vortex heads ported.

A little over 600hp but I want 800

Have a machine shop make sure of the bores before you have them treated. Mine had taper from side to side of more than a thousandth. Don't just take it for granted that the bores are round.

It won't hurt to have them done. What are they charging you to do that?

I didn't get a price for the rods, $60 to cyro the crank so I figure the rods shouldn't be more than that.
I saw some place online , I thinks they were like $7 each.

Cryo doesn't make them harder. They'll machine just as easy after cryo. It's a stress relieving process. Won't be a bad thing at all to do.

Using a hone or ID grinder on treated material potentially introduces changes due to heat... that's all I meant.
