CV joints about to go??

I have a clicking noise comming from the right front of my TY. the clicking will vary with the speed (faster at higher speeds) and you can really hear it at low speeds. Occasionally I will get noises when backing up and the wheel is turned but not when going foward with the wheel turned. Could this be CV joints going out? Only on one side though...

Yup!

Go to your local auto store and get a new halfshaft (~$60). It takes minimal tools and skill to replace it. The main "specialty" tools you're going to need are a 36mm socket and a ball joint splitter. Everything else can be done with standard tools.
