Custom Gauge Face GP Interest

Looking to see what the interest is to do a group purchase on custom gauge faces for our trucks. They would be USA made, laser cut, and hand assembled. I am told that they are OEM quality when finished. Estimated time to get them done (once started) would be about 3-4 weeks.

These are the initial mockups I have. I could probably do some minor tweaks and changes if needed before committing. No, these are not indiglo. The only parts that would light up would be the white/red portions. I dont have a mockup of a Syclone/SGT version, but of course, it can be done.

Options are:

Standard SyTy gauges (no logo)
SyTy Logo Gauges (has Sy or Ty logo)
Standard Sonoma GT gauges (no logo)
SGT Logo Gauges (has SGT logo)

Price would be around $150 a set.

If I can get around 20-25 people to commit, I can set up a GP (like how Ive done the keychains) and get going on it.

My opinion....2 changes Id like to see:

- The positive boost side should have red like it is in the RPM.
- Maybe a better icon for the "turbo" in the boost gauge portion.

Its off center too. It's a mockup though... :tup:


Cant really show you the actual gauges in our cluster since they havent been made before, but to give you an idea, here is a set done for a Z car...

I could always order a set for myself and install it....or have someone else install it on their truck since swapping my gauges is not at the top of my list to do at the moment if it'll gain more interest. Im in no hurry, but since the opportunity presented itself to have them done, I figured Id offer it up to everyone else.

So it would be a black face with white numbers, correct?

I know I would be in the minority, but is it possible to have the smaller km/h included like the stocker has?

Correct. Black face, white and red would light up respectfully.

Actually, the km/h was brought up on FB. I wouldnt mind it, but I think it would either limit having the SyTySGT logo there if at all for those who wanted it.

I also had the though of putting the odd number MPH in but just a bit smaller than the evens.

I can play around with it though for sure.

I'd take a set with the typhoon logo as long as it's centered and not crooked.

I mentioned my interest for these on Facebook, but I will also say YES to these here as well...

*I too agree that the positive side of the boost gauge should be in red, and would like to see what you come up with for a new turbo icon.
*possibly the PAS logo on the tach as an idea too... not a definite, but something else that might be kinda cool...
*could do the odd speedo numbers in a smaller print too, as long as it's not gonna be in the way of the Sy/Ty/SGT logo...

Now I know that so far there area small handful of us who would want these but not enough to green light the start of production... is it possible to find out how much a set would be even if we don't get the majority needed to run them??? I may still want a set as long as the price isn't outrageous...

how hard would it be to do one in contrasted colors?

my white/white ty would look amazing with primary white gauges

I had the indiglos in the last one and it was definitely a cool look, but honestly I never changed the color more than once

another idea, maybe use just the word "turbo" or "boost" in the syty font?


me personally, I would love one that said "Vtec" there.

but i'm a bit facetious in the real world
