see his baseline in the other post...

tomorrow gonna see how it helps with a external wastegate and remove stock exhaust.

then with no air filter + tube, just a turbo.

then with no exhaust, downpipe only and with air filter and tube.

then with no air filter + tube.

then with no cat and atr cat back with air filter + tube

then with no cat and atr cat back without air filter and tube.

try also at 17psi with those, and if we have time, 19psi.

should be interesting to see how much we can gain from this weeks earlier number...

Finally, researched dyno testing! Kudos to you guys.

We should set up a beer fund and send it to them.

Post the results!

Well, tonight me and Brian installed the wastegate, replaced the cat with a 2.5in straight pipe, and installed an ATR muffler in place of the stock 'super turbo'.

It was getting late so I didn't have a chance to re-dyno it. But I will tomorrow. The truck feels much better, allthough the sound of the open wastegate will take some getting used to .

things jim needs, lockup switch, tie down, boost controler, tranny cooler, fix rear brakes, air intake setup, and beat larry's mustang :)

BW,

Thanx for the info. Sorry to keep bugging around, but how much power did the truck make with that set up??

Thanx

Tooky

Serious about performance
How much HP was gained/lost on the different air intake setups?

And what HP was gained by uncorking the exhaust?

Thank you

ext. wastegate, test pipe, no air intake crossover tube, and ATR muffler the truck dynoed at.

291.8 rwhp
