I'd have to change my heater core, check the fluids, and I'm ready to go... 1/2 my stuff gone with my wife and no job when I get back would suck though.

Now that the high speed shudder is gone, no problem. Would/could drive it anywhere...as long as it's not raining out (or salt on the road). :rotf:

Same with the Syclone...I drove it 900 miles from Nashville to PA on FILTHY oil and it ran flawless. And that was before the tune-up

Still, I don't go anywhere without a cell phone and my AAA card.

I would just need to hook up the tahoe and car trailer, load the ty. Where are we going?

Stupid tahoe has 168k miles now and I trust it to go anywhere, although it likes gas stations.

Now the Typhoon was reliable once. My first nats we drove 2k miles ONE way. I hope it is still reliable once I finish, although I am honest with myself and know it won't be like it was. Probably won't see rain like it did before either.

Since I haven't stated installing my wide band, you buy the gas and we're outta here.

Just drove the Ty down to Il for the first time, and aside from no TC lockup:tdown: it ran fine. Awesome highway vehicle.

Mine is pretty close to showroom condition. New Brakes, new crate motor and tranny, 56k on the odometer, awesome stereo, seats in new condition with the lumbar bulb even! Yea, I wouldn't hesitate driving it out of Alaska down the highway to the lower 48. It would run just fine though I would bring tools but I would do that with any vehicle I drove. It's just all the other idiots on the road I have to be concerned about.

I'm confident mine could, I just wouldn't. It would increase the mileage it has seen in the last 17 years by 30% in one trip ;) .
