Cool or Tacky?

Thinking about changing my wheels again.. but not sure if this is tacky or what.

basically this is the look right now:

and the wheels I'm interested in, they are black C6 style with a machined lip:

and photochopped (couldnt get a good angle/pic of wheels but you get the point)

Renz mentioned maybe some orange lugnuts and rivets

What you guys think?

i HATE black rims, but with the thin spoke, the polished lip and your kick ass brake setup, you could pull it off nicely

I liked them too, but they only had them in 17x8 and a 245 wide tire wasnt cutting it.. plus they were starting to pit.

Keep what you have IMO.

I despise black wheels on black vehicles. It makes you lose touch with the proportions of the vehicle when the wheels/tires/body all blend togethor. Makes it like a big blob of blackness.

I don't like the polished lip with your truck. There's nothing else on your truck that's polished, and the bottom portion is solid black... Why not go with a completely solid black wheel, no polish?

cause they look like steelie spare tires without the polished lip...

I see them all the time on the Hyundai's around here. They paint the crappy 5spoke hubcaps from autozone black. IMO thats exactly what most black wheels look like on a most black cars.

I'm looking at a set in the 18x8.5 for my Sy. Saw a similar wheel on an all-black Ferrari, looked sweet!
