Just wondering i installed a 10" Ultra Performance 3000 stall with 12" lock up housing. The truck launches perfect it even burns rubber coming out of the hole. Now here comes my question my truck use to launch very crapy but had a very good WOT transmission use to shift hard very nice. Now the truck launches all some but the WOT is not the same transmission shifts week and the truck feels slow at high speed. Any one have a clue what can it be?

THANKS.

Re: Converter

Do you have the manual torque converter lock up switch?
If you do, try that & see if it MPH's like before?
If you do not have it, install a switch & lock up the converter.

To Engage the Transmission Converter Clutch (TCC) - Terminals (A) and (F).
Install two wires with a switch, connecting the a and f terminals of the aldl port.
those are the top left and the top right squares of the port.
if your unfamiliar with the aldl port it is under the dash board just right of the steering wheel.
More info on the aldl port here.

what happen was that my trans-shifter cable brok on me so i could not do the test on the TCC. so once i get a new cable I'll do the test.

Any others ideas what could be making my truck a little slow at high speed ?

I see videos of other trucks with 3000 stall and they take off good and it seems like they move good at high speed. I will appreciate all the help that I can get.

I am tiered of people saying that i have a pis of sh*t Blazer i want them to see what i rely have. so i rely appreciate all the help that i can get. thanks.

Can you tell me more about this converter? It sounds interesting.
Its a 10'' Ultra performance 3000 stall converter with 12'' lockup housing.
I bought it from my friend Guy from RockfordRacecraft. He had the fabricators install HD clutches.
