Compatible Front Prop Shafts??

I have a 92 SY and the front prop shaft is in need of a rebuild. The shop quoted me $300.00 to rebuild mine. He said to go to a parts yard and find one. What are the compatible front prop shafts from other vehicles? I know Olds Bravada, Chevy Astro Van AWD, and of course Syclone but what years are compatible as those vehicles were made for quite awhile (except the Sy) and I would assume that the drivelines may have changed over the years?? I have found several but have no idea if they are compatible so I wanted to make sure before I pulled the trigger on something.
I did a search and came up dry as far as compatibility.

I grabbed one out of a Bravada for my Typhoon. The shaft is noticeably bigger, so I had to modify the shift bracket a bit to clear it.

I call shennanigans. Nothing on a SyTy is ever just "a bit". :rotf:

I had a prop shaft built and shipped for $300.
