Yeop, I have them on the Sy.
It's about time you got collector plates, I didn't think that you were ever going to get them ! I have had them on my truck for over six years now. As mentioned by Daron, I am one of the lucky ones that lives in a county with e-screw er, e-check. Collector status makes me exempt from emissions and I never have to deal with it again
EVER.
There are two publications that the BMV references, the 4th Edition Standard Catalog of American Cars 1946-1975 (Krause Publications). Or The New Complete Book of Collectible Cars 1930-1990 (Consumer Guide). They also reference the National Automobile Dealers Association Classic, Collectible and Special Interest Car Appraisal Guide if the vehicle in question isn't covered in the other two.
I submitted copies of magazines articles that I got off of the
Sportmachines magazine rack vouching for the trucks limited production. As well as information off of
syty.org. Ed O'Rourke can set you up with a
COA if you don't have one for your truck too.
Yes, your collector vehicle
CAN NOT be your daily driver. You will have to give the plate number of your daily driven vehicle on your application as well as when you renew your registration to prove that it isn't.
