code 43

My check engine light keeps coming on while drive my ty. It would come on then go off right away or stay on for a little bit. The ty runs fine with or without the light on, I just notice lose in power when its on, which I hear is normal. I check for codes and got code 43. I did some searching on syty and found out that the wire connection on the knock sensor might need to be replaced. I was seeing if there is any other ideas that might be able help me from keeping this check engine light from coming on. Thank you

Me thinks knock sensor needs replacing. Good luck. They are a PITA!

Thanks for the replies. I pick up a knock sensor from the dealer. I hope this works.

I just changed mine, used a 1/2" drive scocket, u-joint & about 12" of extentions to loosen & tighten. lifted out the old 1 & started new 1 with my fat hand, Didn't have to remove anything. & thats with a extra oil sender hanging in out the way.
