Got a code 42 the other day after the truck started running weird. The tach jumps up and down, it doesn't respond to throttle when I hit the pedal to get past the stumbliing. If I hold the pedal to maintain the speed it gets me home. I replaced the module, and the ECM, but not the pickup in the distributor. I also took the 3bar, and Ultimate out. It does it with the stock chip, and 2 bar. It seems that the hotter it is out, it makes the situation get worse. At idle when cold, the tach dips a little at idle, but other than that it runs strong. I let the truck sit for over a year, It started up fine, but has this problem now. I almost forgot, the ecm won't comunnicate with my friends snap on solas scanner, and when I short out the aldl, it sometimes doesn't flash anything, not even the code 12's....Any input would be really appreciated.
