Code 31

just had code 31 thrown up. scan tool says its waste gate over boost how do i fix this error code.

I would check the vaccum lines on the wastegate solenoid to make sure they are still on there. I had mine come off a long time ago and it threw that error code.

I would also put datamaster or Tuner Pro on there and see what your target boost is, wastegate duty cycle % and Actual Boost is to see if you are overshooting. If you are overshooting you might need to adjust the wastegate rod. Especially if the code 31 keeps occuring.

this is the first time i ,ve had this, it came up after heavy acceleration.
