CLR in upper and lower IC?

my upper and lower IC look like they've got a nice fair amount of calcium and whatever else kinda build up inside them... most likely the previous owner was using all tap water in the system.

anyone tried soaking these in a tub of CLR with good results?

I have used Eagle One's aluminum brightner on radiators before and it helped a lot.

I use muriatic acid, just gotta make sure you dont leave it too long and neutralize it after you flush it out

Code what?
I know Prestone makes a cooling sys flush bottle that works well. CLR product is very good at what it's designed to do. I may run a couple ounces through my ic system. I know it's got some crud from the tap water

I dunno that I would run CLR THROUGH your system... it's gotta be pretty potent to really do anything... a stronger mix might not be the best thing for the IC pump???

I've never had much luck using vinegar on this type of stuff... couldn't even clean my coffee maker.
