Headin home last night I jump off the freeway & decide to take the long way home. As Im gettin gas right at the corner of the main strip in town an amazingly clean Vette turns down the road and roars by. While pumping im thinking how much I'd love to roll up on him...
I pull out of the station and head in his direction, (he's probably got a solid mile on me now) so Im doin about 45 in a 35... The stars must have been in perfect alignment last night though.. I catch up to him, alone, at a light, 2 lanes.
Pull right up with a big grin. He gives a little rev. Not sure yet if he knows what Im driving since its dark. Light goes green, we take a corner and I make sure he hears the turbo let off... now I've got his attn.
Long story short, he's revs a bit more, I hit it, get the kick down the 2nd and take off, pulled on him up to about 60 and let off since the area swarming with cops. He gave a wave, I jump back on the freeway and head home, testing my luck no more!
