cladding question

right now the cladding is like a fadded black or a light gray depending on the light. I talked to the original owner of the truck and he said that the cladding was gloss black for the factory. Is this possible? I thought that they were all flat black.

the cladding will appear gloss black if it has some sort of dressing on it like "Black Chrome" or "Mothers Back to Black".

No Syclones came from the factory with gloss painted cladding, just the semi-gloss matte finish. Typhoons however, did come with painted cladding.


But of course, theres also only 50 Teal Typhoons as well

I heard that some of the cladding was repainted gloss black at the customers request by the dealers before the trucks were sold . I believe I heard that 10 trucks had this done?

News to me. Where did you find this info and is it documented?

The magic number 10 is usually only associated with the Marlboros.
