I was gonna say, overpriced, the judges/staff suck, the whole atmosphere of their shows started going down the tubes about 4 years ago.

I personally have no motivation to take my truck anywhere or do anything with it after Nats and my whole front diff problem. It can sit at rot for all I care right now, but I certainly dont want others to not go.

I'll probably be there to see who shows. We've had over 20 trucks there in past years, although in the last few the number dwindled considerably.
FWIW Adam Kane busted his ass and got the GM Nationals to finally give us our own SyTySoGT class, and 3 trucks showed. Not sure if they'll give us one next year or not.
Carlisle ain't that bad - I hate crowds with a passion (avoid concerts, sporting events, clubs etc.) and I go to Carlisle 3-5 times a year. They put a HUGE restriction on "wheeled apparati" this year - no wagons, scooters, etc. Ya gotta walk and ya gotta carry, or ya gotta prove why you can't. Just gotta remember to bring sunscreen.

I'll probably be there to see who shows. We've had over 20 trucks there in past years, although in the last few the number dwindled considerably.

I haven't been in a few years but in the past I always thought that Carlisle put on better shows than some of the other big shows that I have been to. I always felt that they were more participant oriented shows and not just a show so they could make a shit load of money. thats my:2cents:

I know it's alittle off topic but has anyone thought of Super Chevy next week? I know it's mainly cars but their truck section has grown considerably the past few years. I'm going to spectate but may take the truck if others will be there.

SCS isn't likely for us - Dad's building his garage right now and I have a hockey playoff game on Sunday - the main show day. Expect me there with my truck next year, but with no running Chevy-type vehicle I can't really justify the time/entry $ to go this year.
Maybe we'll have a SyTy party at Dad's and we can knock the rest of the garage out in a weekend.
