Looks nice! We could make billet aluminum covers for the area surround the light switches, etc. They would look pretty good with a cf surrounding.

The controls where thought about, but we thought if the stock ones where painted in a semi flat black it would look ok. I wont be using this dash I had these made for board members, but it doesn't seem like that many people have the cash. Mine will be something similar but wont have the center stock hole cutouts, since I will be mounting my Racpak dash there.

So so far it looks like one Member is interested Come on!!

i'd be in for one, but what about the hole for the mirror switch though? be a shame to have to cut that up and risk screwing it up

I can have anything made you want, but its going to be expensive if there being done for just one offs.

1. I will have to have same OEM sample piece for a mold, that will NOT be returned.

2. If I can get a groupe of people for what ever part is being made it will be cheaper.

Jamie

Carbon Fibre cladding would probably be an option as well given the price to get individual parts

That looks sweet.. Sucks they are so tight with their info.. I'd love to see a pic of the molds used to make that.. Lots of angles to work with there.

The hole for the mirror is no problem I would have them cut it in for who needs it.

I would like to see more of cf kit. Just one piece around gauges just won't look right. Perhaps, gauge cluster bezel, glove box door, radio bezel, shifter suround, inner door handle suround?? Just to make it look more like a kit not just one random cf piece. Just my thoughts. Beautiful workmanship though, thats an awesome piece!

I think you're right, flat black around the controls would look great.

Matt...I'm willing to bet that they used CNC billet aluminum for their tooling. If no Caul plate was used..then an additional alum.male tool was used too.

But.....if they were anticipating a low useage run....Epoxy resins and an Infused mold(dry lay-up) might have been done. Lots of wet trimming later. If their shop was nicely set-up....they could have used a lazer or water-jet to trim and cut openings with.:2cents:

Like I said I can have anything done. This was done because I wanted a dash for my Racpak, and didn't just want to waste a perfect dash just for my use, so I thought I would have these made while we where doing it.

Your CF Dash looks good. However was wondering about the possibilites of a CF IC Scoop.
Most IC Scoops are boxy/Aluminum (ugly) and dont fit the lines of the Truck.
Of course fiberglass Scoops either break or get shattered via rocks and such.
Dont know how many folks would be interested, but I havent seen a visually appealing
and function one made like a front spoiler/air grabber piece.

But maybe this is too dependent upon individual tastes to offer up as a SyTy item.

...just thinking

I acutually started to fab up a custom CF scoop for my RPM a2a and Ive made flat style CF blades in the past.

I should revisit my RPM a2a and actually fab it up for real. I got a mockup done and then got sidetracked in life

Hey Jamie,

nice looking piece there!

As soon as the deadline passes and you have already bought material for 5 units, you will get 10 more people trying to buy them.. :) Happens every time, so make extra.

A carbon fiber hood would be sweet too, especially since Goodmark no longer makes the nice looking 2" cowl. Only option is Harwood (~ $600 w/ shipping). I always get alot of calls on hoods fyi.
