Car & Driver - look out for an upcoming mention...

Got an email from Car & Driver asking for info about the SyTy on an upcoming article being written about the Trailblazer SS.

I offered up the info they asked for and a bit more, plus extended my help to anything else they needed with maybe a hopeful follow up from the Sept 1991 Issue of the Syclone vs Ferarri 348ts, "The $96,000 Sting".

Dunno whats in store for the article, but hopefully we are mentioned in a positive manner.

The mag coverage has been kickass lately, ya know?

My uncle has one, and I guess traction control won't even let him break the tires loose  Shit we can break all four loose. :rotf:

From what I understand, you can't totally turn it off on these, it still engages for warranty purposes....from what I understand....dunno never road in it, but is what I heard.

I think theyre gay. They need to stop making show off bling bling trucks and go back to the raw. Thats what I always liked about our trucks. Theey just have a raw look to them. IMO.

Yeah its called torque management, it keeps the transmission from breaking by backing down spark adv. during shifts and progressively open the throttle blade.

I have a friend who drags a Buick GS and he takes the fuse out. Kills TC completely. Lets him do burnouts an everythang.;)

The Diablo Predator will remove torque management as will a reprogram of the ECM like Westers, etc.
