Ok guys i wanted to know if it is at all posible for me to purchise a syclone for 10 grand that actully runs with not so high milage ? Or am i just dreaming will this get me a peice of crap ? Just thought id ask becouse i got 7 grand saved so far !But if i cant get one for 10 grand i probly will not even bother :roll:

I picked mine up for 10k. It had 51,000 miles on it and it ran great for about 6 months before the turbo let go, then $800 later it was running really good until the tranny went about 4 months later Now the truck's parked with 92,000 miles and blown piston rings. I think the bottom line is that even if you spent a little more than 10k on a truck, you're not guaranteed anything, you just have to know what to look for...

I picked my truck up for 10,5 about seven months ago with 72k on it and haven't had any problems with it knock on wood... I've seen some nice ones out there for 11k or more but then again I've seen some real shitty ones too so yah you have to inspect good before investing your loot.. good luck.

Picked mine up bone stock right down to the orig exhaust with 64k miles for $8k almost two years ago with only minor/common issues (dead IC pump, fog lamps not working, etc). Its gone high 11:90s as of this year(hoping to go faster this Fri 
) with bolt ons, 116 octane, tuning for minimal KR, a BUNCH of help from ppl on here, and an ENORMOUS amount of me tinkering with it.
They can be found for cheap but you HAVE to be patient in the search or find someone who has no clue what they have.

I bought mine bone stock (Exhaust? Try paper air filter... =Þ) with 77k in March of 2001 for $9800 from the second owner. A board fell against it in the original owner's garage so there are two little chips on the driver's door, and regular wear and tear on the paint on the front. 50k later, I've done the tranny (the forward sprag went, still great otherwise), fuel pump, IC pump, ball joints, water pump, and alternator. Most of that I replaced on my S-10 too, and it's just normal worn out parts from being a 12 year old truck with almost 130k. I ran 13.8 through the stock intake and exhaust with a 1.9 60', and so far the only thing that's actually broken on me is the tranny, which wasn't even that bad...
Sometimes you can find a good truck with a few little problems for cheap, or you can spend a ton on one with huge upgrades and it still won't work right. With these trucks, asking price doesn't seem to indicate that much it seems...

I picked mine up for 5k from the second owner 113K completely stock but it needs a little cleanup on the oustide. It has a reproduction hood and fender that was never painted.... oh well at least it was black... flat black...
It took me a year of bugging the guy and finally leaving a check for 5 grand on his desk. But for the good news she runs really well. When I took it out for the first time at the track I pulled off the stock crossover intake tube and added a K&N but some 101 octane unleaded in and I ran a best of 13.9 with a 1.875 60'. All of this is at 5800'. I'm not sure if I am going to mod it yet. But when something breaks who knows... Until then I am just enjoying it.....

Picked up mine for 10k.
100k, PERFECT paint, perfect interior except for little crack in door.
Ran great, 10k later needs some basic work, still looks good.
Just check traderonline.com as often as possible. I called the guy I bought mine from about 20 mins after it went up.
