Can a MAP sensor have intermitent problems?

Im getting code 34, low MAP and thoguht it was strange because all of a sudden it will come on then just go away. The truck acts like a retard when the CEL comes on and tries to shut down. So when I pulled the code I didnt think a MAP could have intermitent problems like this, thought they either work or they dont. All wiring is great so it has to be the MAP itself or the ECM.

low map could mean you have a vac leak in the line feeding your map sensor.

Prime reason why you should never tap a boost gauge or alky control into the AFPR / MAP harness.

Its just the MAP and AFPR on there. Ill check for a leak. Just dont knwo why it would be intermitent you know?

Weirder things have happened. Is your fuel pressure staying normal? Double check the electrical connectors too

Any sensor can go intermittent, beacuse it is connected to the ECU by a 15 year-old wiring harness. My TPS sensor wiring went bad somewhere behind the passenger-side cyl head.

x2. 99% of the time things like this are harness issues, or ground issues.
