I would consider altering my plans and with what little you know about engines, your italacized comment concerning my Syclone holds no water with me. $$$$$ can fix anything and if I ever get around to chipping it right, you can have all the runs against it you can stand and I wouldn't even take your money for the first 3 runs.

.....and yet again, you speak in ignorance. My Syclone had the Accel DFI system in it for 3 hours because Jeff Scott put it in there from my Ty to see if the Ty would run any better off the factory ECU taken out of my Syclone. One hour after he left, I changed it back because the Sy did NOT take to his "magic". I know a tiny bit more about mechanicals than I let on :).

If you knew anything about a DFI system, you would know they have NO chip.....that's right; NO CHIP!!! Therefore, your contact number couldn't even help me IF the DFI was in the Syclone. I do have a Prompaq system in the Syclone with 4 different chips and sooner than later, it will be right. Remember, $$$$$ can fix anything and this truck will wipe you from the Xmas tree by Spring of next year. You have me motivated now to get it spot on :tup:

Maybe you should pay a bit more attention to what you hear befre you come on here showing what little you know.

Just to clear up a few things.

I don't ever remember putting the DFI you had in your sy (which BTW John Meaney developed, along with FAST, Holley, and now owns BS3).

I did take the stock ecm from the sy and put in the ty trying to get it to run which I did do. Without a working wideband I could only go off the NB data, but I did get it to idle decent. I determined something was off mechanically, bad wire something and tuning was not going to fix that.

They sy is an oddball combination of parts, mainly the distributor. Again without a Wideband installed at the time it was hard to see what was going on in the short time I did have to look things over.

It was very much like throwing 2 unknown builds at me, taking blindfold off and saying GO.

Well, it got in there somehow while I was on the golf course and somebody had to mention something to Jeremy at some point to make him THINK it was still in the Sy. You and I were the only ones here so draw your own conclusion because I haven't had discussion with him since then, until the H-Bomb arrived in my garage early this month and got his panties in a wad???

I know I put you in a precarious situation but I was flustered with the Typhoon and you were the best tuner close by I could call on. Just take some time to teach your sidekick up there that the DFI is a chip-LESS system. I have a brand new PLX wideband system that arrived 3 weeks ago for the Syclone and again, it is just a matter of time before the fuel/air mixture bug is worked out and then I have no doubt that truck will peel off some quick times. Hasn't big one of my priorities because I am involved with so many other things but it is quickly moving to the top of my list, thanks to my friend Jeremy.

I will up the ante on the challenge, you show up and I will BUY your gas to drive there/back and the events.

Appreciate your kindness but put your money into your own truck to get it back screaming again. I have plenty of money to pay for the necessary fuel and event costs. That is the least of my concern :tup:. He just keeps jumping around with locations he obviously has little intention of showing up at.......as of this AM, we are down in southern Florida and, in keeping with his style, there will be "plenty of OTHER trucks to give me a good run". Started out using Dobrick, now the Florida guys......always someone else to do his business!! Give it a week and he will want to meet in Karituta, Africa :rotf:

1 straight line, 1 requiring driver skill as you say.

Jeremy knows a DFI doesn't have a chip, he never heard from me the sy had it installed, i just talked to him and corrected him on that point.

At the very least I am finding this very entertaining.

My ty started to come apart last night, I dont' think the damage is as bad as first thought and it will be back up and running rather quickly. No fear.

I recommended mid Ohio....that's close to you guys and a little trek for me. I recommended Deals Gap which is filled with twisties but that doesn't suit Jeremy (or his scapegoat). I suggested Nashville on a Saturday instead of a Sunday, for a good reason and (might I add) one that I have voiced on here numerous times regarding Sunday events. Jeremy selected that location but yet, the date doesn't suit him. Don't know what else to do until my schedule and his agree. He will regret ever mentioning the word twisties around me though....you can take that to the bank. BTW, Jabberwalk can video the start at Deals Gap and you could video the end. There is only ONE paved way in and ONE paved way out although there are lots and lots of exits in between. It is not for the faint of heart and I understand completely why Jeremy is running from it tooth and nail.

Mike, my point is there is NOT a chip that can be removed and sent off (or custom ordered) for fine tuning based on what Jeremy posted below. You simply can't buy a chip for a DFI system.

Call him and get a chip for the 27th.[/SIZE]

Again, whatever floats your boat......801 S. Liberty Church Road can fill in the xxxxx's. Jeff knows how to get right here in case you can't read a map or use a nav system. There are some nice twisties around here close by I can prove my point on and the local hospital is a brand new facility so you will receive top notch care should you not turn out to be the CHAMP you like to boast about in your signature. Some people have to publicize everything so they feel good about their accomplishments I guess. Call me to make sure I am available before you make the drive. My phone number is public too :tup:

I think if you are being called out, you should make the arrangements work out so to speak to make it happen. That is of course, if you even care to be a part of it. When you get called out, they are initiating the challenge and clearly not "afraid" to race. However, if you accept the challenge and meet on his terms and he comes up with excuses then that is the only way I would consider the challenger to be a puss and assume he was full of shit all along. I was called out on the local boards by a guy who's car ran consistent 11's and I met at the time he asked me to. Unfortunately he was not there. I guess he had sent me a PM saying to meet the following weekend because it would have been cheaper since the track was having a different type of event. I know I would have lost and never said anything different but point is, he challenged, I went. I hope you guys can really get your schedules to compare and get this on video. I would certainly think twice if I owned a modded Z06 and a guy with a stock Sy was calling me out. I can see why you really only want to race him through turns. That's what I used to do when I had my Vette and knew I couldn't beat someone in the straight line:lol:

I looked on the site.....didn't see any curves at that track? If you are suggesting to run me in your Syclone in a straight line now, you are not even in the league with a 11.9 so let me know when you run a 11.5 or better and I will consider wasting a day for you. For the record, what do you want....twisties or a short straight; one day it is one thing and the next, it changes? You are like the Sunni's.....very hard to follow with your sporatic dialogue!
