Cab weight?

Does anyone know how much the cab on a Sy or GT weighs? (I still have the dash and steering column in but no seats, carpet, etc). I'm going to be lifting mine off and I'm wondering if a 1000lbs hoist is adequate or if I need to play with comealongs like I did with the Ty

The cab weighs about 500 pounds. I used a 1000 lb. hoist to raise mine with no problems.

I used a 800lb electric hoist on a I-beam trolley . Full interior, doors, etc

Yeah thats the right neiborhood, i removed mine with some freinds, and a couple of floor jacks and jack stands, and pretty much raised it enough o get it off the frame and then removed the frame out from under it and then slid in the wooden dolley i built for it to sit on.
