Did you use different gears to accommodate the different tire heights for the AWD?

the tires are the same diameter. 15 inch weld wheels and hoosier tires but same diameter. i sent a video to mike renz and asked him to put it up if he could for me. first time ever out with the vette it went 10.3. you'l like the video. it's against a 10 flat evo that just screams. they really liked the transbrake on the 400 trans. actually had me get them one for the ty today so they can launch it harder. ..... i'm nervous

Its too bad that crappy lunchbox on meth it was racing was making so damn much noise, I would have liked to hear the vette.

Sorry about dredging up this thread again...

I recently came across some pictures of this build on another forum and I managed to trace the origins of things all the way back to here.

The interesting thing is that I was just recently at the 2006 Sy/Ty Nationals. I was the girl that rolled in with Sean Morris and the SoCal crew (+1 BDubb). Should I even be admitting that here...? I won the coasters in the raffle. That occurred the day before my birthday so that was a good present. Thanks! They now have a good home on my coffee table.

Anyway I recently started working as an Engineer at Turbonetics. I told our marketing guy about the Vette, he wanted to see the pictures, so I sent him a link. I see that Mike must have taken down the video clip because it doesn't work anymore. I wanted to see the Vette run! That's all really...
