Bullet behind Servo?

What does blocking this off do? Ive heard of a couple guys on here doing this and the guy here in town I talk to about tranny s says not to. Just wondering what the purpose is.

Noone? If anyone is confused about what I am talking about, its the check ball that is behind the servo. Its installed through the bottom of the case, looks kinda like a bullet with a check ball in it.

Block it with a th400 plug(I've got some) or epoxy it shut after taking the checkball out.
Then put in a sonnax 3rd accumluator check valve assembly after drilling it to mate with the 093 servo. Make a MUCH cleaner 2-3 and 3-2 shift. Don't use the Fairbanks 2nd servo unless you like breaking stuff.
They block that in order to keep it from leaking off 3rd oil. Helps save the 3-4's. He probably doesn't know what it does so he just says "leave it alone".
