I know its a little early but i got an email from Yearone about the braselton bash. it will be June 17th. they are calling it the Chip Foose Braselton Bash. I went ahead and registered for the Chip Foose Speciality Group. I know its not worth it to some people but to me it is. I love what chip foose can do with a car!!

is any else planning on going? It is not too long after the hotrod power tour(which we are doing as well).

I'm over in Dahlonega. What is this thing about, I can't read the flyer thingy.

I actaully go to gainesville and Dahlonega 3 times a week for school.

It is basically a hotrod show. Last year it was held at Road Atlanta and if you were there early enough they let you take your ride around the track. I believe sat nights everyone meets up at Atlanta Dragway and gets times down the quarter mile. Oh.. and Chip
is there along with Rides. Last years show was on the TV awhile back.

You are attending both NGC and Univ. of Exit 4 at the same time? or is this part of that program that uses both campus'? Do you drive your Ty up or another vehicle? Only other Ty I have seen up here in Joey's.
I take it that they get a fairly large turnout. Is there an entry fee? If I ever get this thing done, I would love run Road Atlanta for a lap.

If you ever see a red S/Gt (in not so good condition) that'd be me. I am still working on the Sy and the Gt in my next project. Drive the Gt daily, work at the Sheriff's Office if you'ld like to stop by.

I believe the Year One Experience is being held April 21-23 this year. That should be an incredible show.

yep white co. cleveland... but i work at john megel chevy. i am the IT guy.

you work for mark mcclure at lumpkin co. s/o? I saw you GT one day coming through dahlonega.

I met Joey he has the green ty right? he was going to buy my sy wheels but decided to wait...

good to see others close. bdydrps where YOU AT?

You said that you are doing the Tour this year. I will also be on the tour, though not in the Sy this year ( I did it in that the last 2 years). I believe that Marty (Syborg) is going this year also. PM me so that we can catch up on the tour, it is always good to meet other SyTyers on the Tour.

I do work for the man. The Gt (in desparate need of work) is my next project, daily driver for now while the Sy is up on the stands. I'd love to get it done before this shindig thingy-do.
Yep, you've met him. He's got the all fiberglass cladding.
Where did they move Megel to? I don't get on that side of Crown Mtn. much and just have noticed it's ALL GONE.

we moved everyone to the new dawsonville location. what a mess!!

I do computer work for the sheriff and tony at the jail. Ryan is a good tech guy too.

Ahhh, good ol' University of Exit 4. I took an English class down there one summer. It doesn't really "look" like a college as much as it does a modified high school. Much different than NGC.

Can't wait to meet the locals. See you July 17th.

Jeremy, Sunday before last we left church headed for C'land. Pulling out of 115 I instantly saw the GT. I did realize your folks lived that close to you. If we hadn't been on a mission to get my wife a bit for her horse I would have stopped. What's up with the SY, what ya doing to it.

Actually, that is my Grandmother's house. She is my engine girl. No joke, she's one of the best mechanics in North Ga. We found a crack in the #4 cyl. of the block we built at David's, so we got a new one and rebuilt it (for the 2nd time). Much better build this time around.

Also, dropping an 8.5 rear from an '03 S10, ball joints and new halfshafts. Putting electric mirrors, moving the battery to the bed and other smaller junk. Basically, having a ball and hanging out with my ol' Granny.

so when exactly is this event? I'd like to go and meet some of the other owners in ga.
