I want to upgrade the front Brakes on my syclone.

Have ZR 1 Wheels but want to use also the original wheels, just vented discs no crossdrilled or something.

What is the solution, where can i buy a complete set?

Thanks for help.

www.cbrperformance.com, I run his 12 inch LS1 front brake kit with factory 16" rims. He changes his website depending on whether he stocks the product though, so you might have to contact him and ask about availability.

Honestly when I upgraded mine, I really didnt feel a difference in stopping power, it was pretty disappointing. The stock brakes worked really well on my truck to begin with. The only reason I did the swap (which is an enormous task, since you have to do all the ball joints and a bunch of heavy metal grinding to the spindle etc.), was because I needed more long term fade-resistance when I road race at the track. In terms of brake fade, the stock ones are very inferior to the LS1 12".

Just FYI. If you do the upgrade using C5 or the firebird caliper setup, CHECK YOUR WHEEL OFFSET. I bought some used 1990 era ZR1 sawblade style rims.....the offset isn't enough to clear the brakes as they stick OUT from the hub farther toward the outside edge of the vehicle. 1/2" spacers were required with Vette rims. Spacers that make my truck vibrate:tdown:
