Hello evry one i just installed RPM air2air intercooler very nic. I took the truck for a rid to day and it runs good. But i notice that wen i hit max boost 17,18 psi the boost gauge starts jumping and the truck starts runing a littal bad. had this hapend to enyone. Can it be leaking air throw the pips? it never did this. can some one help me with this. THANKS

Yes. Can be leaking. Make sure all of your connections are tight.

check the one on the TB. Mine was leaking there. Once it poped off. Scary thing to see your boost guage go from 15-0 in a flash and hear a loud pop.

It was the one from the TB i found out wen it poped off under boost. I mad shore it's on good know. thank you guy's for the help :)

Do you have a bracket on there that ties the piping to the TB so it can't come off? If you don't and still have problems I would search out this braket it makes it so it really can't back off.

Mike said there is a thicker coupling for this. I made a gheto bracket for mine. Looks like crap but holds 20lbs of boost. Oh and I was free and took me 1 hour to build and install.

no i have the normal clamp that came with the kit. i took the truck for a drive did not come off yet. but if it give's me problems i will let you know.

its gheto, and looks like crap but it works. As you can see I have the top strap tightened all the way. and it still poped off.

gheto but it works. if mine keeps poping I will make one :tup:
