the other day i looked on the form and looked at the way that the wg solenoid goes hooked up and i got a diagram of it and hooked mine up the same way wich is stock and to make sure it was right i looked at my friends ty and it was the same ass the diagram . so now when i get on the highway in my ty and i give it gas to build boost the boost will go up on the gage and when it gets to 10 psi it drops down and goes up to 10 and back down again so do i have a bad wg solenoid. when i punch it i get detonation and this truck is stock exept for fuel pump w hot wire kit and ram air. i still need to put adj reg on but not as easy as i thought so i have an extra upper intake for ty that im going to port match with gaskets and then may be i,ll be able to switch the reg and check all vacum hoses for leaks . has any one ever had this boost problem on there syty if so please help me .thank you

Detonation... you answered your own question. You're boosting, detonating, and your ecm is trying to compensate for the knock by backing off the boost. Make sure your intercooler pump is actually working. I can tell you from experience that it's just a matter of time before you break your pistons due to detonation. Solve your intake temperature problems.

Yeah most likely getting kr.. might want to reach out to any local syty peeps that have datamaster that they could plug into your ty and see how bad yoru situation is.. do you have fuel pressure gauge to check to make sure your getting enough fuel ?
