Boost problem.

Hi all,

As some of u may know I recently did a datamaster run to check the engine temp and IAT. While I was testing the truck I noticed that the boost readings on datamaster never showed over 10psi and I remember seeing the boost gauge hit 15psi during one of the WOT datamaster runs. So I did another run and its true... My boost gauge hits 15psi while datamaster shows no more than 9psi. Any help/advice will be appreciated. thnx

Is that the stock boost gauge? They are very inaccurate.

what chip are you using? if you are using stock then you are using a 2 bar map sensor. if so go into data master and click on setup then click on display units and make sure MAP calibration is checked on OEM. if you are using a chip like the ultimate that uses more then 15 psi the you need a 3bar and make sure the setting on DM is on 3-Bar. I am guessing you have a 3-bar and it is on the 2-bar setting.

Hmmm... I guess that may be it, I just installed ultimate and didnt change to 3 BAR(didnt know I have to) Thnx for the quick responses!
