Black Pro Flo 350 hose from JEGS

Anyone here ever use this stuff on an external pump set up? I used about 6' of -12 from the sumped tank to the pump and it caved in on itself. It feels like it is split from the tank fitting about half way up the hose. Anyone know what would cause this?

I've used hundreds of feet of the same stuff by earls and have never had a problem. Sounds like it might be defective. I would give Jegs a call.

Went to a few shops today with the hose. I was told that it was by far the crappiest hose they had ever seen and they were all shocked it would be used as fuel line. I'll sleep well tonight.

Thats the best I can do. I just went up through the frame rail. There was about 20 minutes run time on this and the truck is still on jack stands. The hose was actually collapsed kind of like a vacuum line that is thin walled and to big, it lead to the split. At first I thought maybe the fittings were installed improperly but when I took one off the split started a few inches away from where the fitting was.

Got a pic of the damage? Did you call Jegs.

I ran similar line, can't remember if it was Jegs brand or not.
