Well it finally happened tonight. We put in the new stall yesterday as the original was way to loose this one is much better. The tune is very mild with only 12 degrees timing and 12psi boost and very rich :D
I did a launch at about 11 psi and the damn thing spun the tires for about 30 feet with rear end danceing around (the drag radials are not on yet).:eek:
Man if felt good datamaster is showing 1/4 speed around the 110 mark . Just for referance MATs started out at 84F and ended up at 92F at the end of the run.
Now to get the Wideband tuning done and start turning up the boost.
Man it felt GOOD!!! To bad I have to bring it in for the 6 point this weekend or else the tuning would be done. Oh well get ready TurboTony next week is going to be FUN!

Congrats. Feeling must be good. My fastest accelerating toy right now is a riding lawn mower. Zero to mow in 30 seconds or longer.

I hear there is a guy in a sy in Canada, that needs some competition in the 100 ft drag races. Seems nobody else short of a all out drag corvette can beat him.

congratulations 100in6, now that is FAST. Quick question, what is you build and do you drive your Sy regularly or is it purely a weekend toy. With some of the trucks on this board, it is one hella of a bragging right to say you are he fastest. 8)

Let me clarify, not asking if it is a daily driver, just how much it sees the street.

Ya I have been waiting for awhile to do that. Sure felt good!!!! It will be a couple weeks before i get to the track. I will have to paint the 6 point and one 315/35/17 drag radial is back ordered to the states.I also want to hit the Dyno before the track to get all the high boost fueling dialed in.

E-Rue I used 84's I had them already and if i max them will move up to 96's.

WOW Les that is a serious ride you have there!!!!!137mph yikes thats moving!! you must have two feet on the break pedal at the end of that run.
To bad we will be in differnt classes at the Nats :wink:

took your advice and went with c16, kept the boost up, tuned tighter, and launched HARD. don't think the tran even with everything I have in it will hold up to that abuse too often. didn't have any trouble stopping, but getting it to sit there on the line with that many R's was a complete BITCH. when we parked it I laid on the ground and watched for leaks! my pockets aren't deep enough to keep doin this too often. motor...no problem. it's a monster. but even with as much as I have in the tranny, it's still a 700.

someone wanted to know what I have in it and how much I drive. It's a total street car. I could take it on a trip if I wanted to. but it's only got about 7700 miles on it total and I always run race fuel, although not the VP, so it gets a little pricy to drive places. I trailer and then drive except local where i live. Is it babied, you bet! It's never even seen water unless it comes out of a hose.

It's a bowtie block, forged crank rods and pistons, and everything else you can think of. the drive train is completely upgraded and runs speedpro. the whold truck was built by jim stokes except for the stage 3 mccoy heads. Stokes called it his ultimate street racer. you don't want to know how much it cost. (well, actually you probably do but I'm afraid my wife might see the post if I put it on. :evil: thats my wifes face if she ever really found out.

nolan, wouldnt it be cool if you and me and tony and mike mccoy went some where and took these monster little trucks and raced at a little local track. we could tell everyone they were stock except we used better spark plugs and oil!

the pressure got to me and I cracked!!!!! ::steamer: besides someone emailed me that was there when I did it and I was afraid he was gonna beat me to it and I wated to have the fun. besides, y'all know I can't keep my big mouth shut :roll:

Good pass!!! How much boost you running and when you say you are leaving hard, are you spinning the tires thru the 60ft mark, it seemed to always give me better 60fts to launch really hard spinning the tires, kinda wierd but , i think you could hit a 9, how light isyour truck with you in it?

drag radials. they really don't spin too much, especially if the track is decent. I probably make somewhere between 850 and 950 pounds fo torque at the launch, so we're talkin G force outta the hole. I hear you on the tire spin stuff. I don't know if spinnin will help but bigger launches and less lag if you have some with the higher revs definitely helps.

gotta remember I have a mark williams pro 12 bolt rear end, leaf springs, adjustable traction bars, and an aluminum driveshaft with a specially set angle so the tractionon on mine is pretty outrageous especially with the bfg's. when mine starts spinning it has a tendency to go a little left sideways. my truck is all steel and doesn't have any light weight parts.

A lot of guys pm me and asks to see some pix of the truck. I have some but :oops: I must admit, I don't know how to put them up. If somebody wants to put them up email me and send an address and I will show you what the drivetrain of a low 10 second sy looks like. and also what happens to tranny parts that get pushed too hard by too much horsiepower!

only had a 1.61 when I did the 10.43. best 60 I think was last year. 1.51 that was right before the tranny let go. built the tran even bigger but don't launch as hard anymore
