Off the top of my head,this is how I do it.I take the new belt and put it around the crank pully,then the fan,the idler pulley,then the AC.take the other side,put it on the PS pump then the alt.At that point its done except for the tensioner.Take a tire tool and pry the tensioner up and slide the belt under it.Usually is a 5 minute job. http://syty.org/old/engine.html
did you get it running? you must have it all together if the belt is going on now...i'll be up there tonight if you need any help...was supposed to be there this past weekend, but plans fell through...i can take datamaster or turbolink if you like...let me know...
I generally put the belt around everything except the alternator. You can use a socket and breaker bar to twist the tensioner around, which gives enough slack to slip the belt over the alternator pulley.
