So I install my new Bell Tech lower leaf springs this weekend because I want to get rid of the 2" blocks that I have. Previously my rear wheels weren't centered in the wheel wells either, which I can't stand. So I install the Bell Techs having read all of the information found using search on this site especially the details about there being a front and rear to the springs....."long end goes towards the front". People claim if your screw it up, the rear will again sit off centered to the front. I measure the stock springs and yep, long goes to the front. Remove everything (man I love pneumatic tools). When all is said and done, the rear wheels are now towards the rear, probably by 1.5" - 2". What the hell is going on here? Does the long side go towards the rear?????? What could I have done wrong? I did install the stock pinion angle block (the triangle shaped block) on the new Bell Techs.
Help, I hate this crap :x
I must say, there appears to be a considerable drop from my stock springs even with the 2" blocks in.
