Re: Bed Rugs yes real bed rugs!!!!

I may just step my playa game up to the full bedroom suit, not just a bed rug.

They do have just the carpet kit for $269, it looks like each one is custom also. Thoughts?

I know it's not the real thing, but for $24.99 at the Home Depot and a few hours with a sharp object it's the next best thing...

I'v tossed the idea around of finding that cheap waterproof/resistant carpet and having someone either stitch the ends together so its somewhat "molded" to the bed or put in a zipper style in the corners or around the wheel wells.. But, like most of the million other ideas it just sits awaiting money.

Looks good. Did you secure it to the bed or tailgate somehow?

is the carpet adhered to your tailgate? if so, how? is the bed floor carpet adhered the same way?

Re: Bed Rugs yes real bed rugs!!!!

Yes, I used 3M's "industrial" carpet tape to secure it to the tail gate as well as a few strips in the corners of the bed.
It's an indoor/outdoor carpet so it's not waterproof. That way if any moisture gets in it can also get out.

Re: Bed Rugs yes real bed rugs!!!!

I copied sly dvl and went to home depot. It came out good. I cut a piece for the tailgate, but didn't get some tape to secure it yet. I spent less than $20. I thought maybe I should've gotten black, but it was 50% more. :dunno: I like the gray it looks good with some contrast and you'll never see it since I have a bed cover.

How different is the design of 2nd gen S-series boxes? Would one look sloppy if used in a Sy?

Different enough that it wouldn't fit the corners nicely, or the box sides. Although, I'd be interested to see how one would fit. Hmmm...
