i went to richardson import auto center yesterday to look at a grand national (which i bought and am very excited about). there was a big parts sale as well with tons of boxes all over the place. well, my dad and i were looking through some of the boxes that were underneath a car that was on a lift. dad happened to glance up and say "hey, look at that". i looked up and saw the most beautiful sy (also the first one i have seen in person) that i have ever seen. the underside was outstanding! the paint on it had to be custom considering how straight it was. everything underneath the car was painted to look really nice, and was absolutly 100% spotless. i was really amazed. i was told that it was for sale for 20k. i didnt notice if the car had any performance bods, but i think it did, seems like he said something about some mods, but i was too busy drooling over how immaculate the rest of the car was. just thought i would share....

1. i dont have the 20k to buy the sy (unfortunatly)

2. i got the GN for 4k (i need to set the motor and tanny in it, but that is no biggy to me)

3. i need a car that i can drive to school every day, not an extremely rare show car that makes me want to cry every time a truck throws a rock at me.

GN's are rare not as rare but rare...and I wouldn't drive my Turbo Buick to school in a million years...Congrats on the GN

I saw that Sy like 2 weeks ago with Patrick (sy769) while we where making a parts run on my ty. Everything was repainted from the looks of it, and the cladding was painted shinny gloss oh and the frame also. It didnt have the stock rims, but some Colorado Custom 18's i think. From what me and Patrick could see through the tire wells it had chrome headers and a freakin big chrome turbo also. We couldnt find anybody to talk to about the sy while we where there, but that had to be one of the cleanest sy i have seen.

I thought mine is the cleanest you've ever seen, right? The Ty is even cleaner, hehehe.

Richardson Imports, eh? I think some people here in Dallas could vouch for their unmatchable knowledge of SyTy's  KaaaaaBOOOOOM!

That thing was so so clean it makes you want to buy it and put it on a lift in the living room. Way to clean to drive.
