My questions:

All original? Has the cladding be repainted? You didn't have to replace the fuel pump or anything?

It just fired right up after sitting for years and polished right up?

I saw the "as found" pics from Kirban, and it looked like the cladding was toast, and in your pics the pass side rocker cladding rivets are obviously not correct.

In the engine compartment I see several missing factory paper tags on various components, and you don't have any undercarrige shots.which worries me since this truck was "stored" in a open garage/barn.

Oh and fix the rear wiper. It's not supposed to be in the middle of the window.

I've seen a truck that blows this one away.

It's ok but it's not all that.

For that kind of money, where's the "walk around video?" I wanna hear that thing idling!!

As mentioned in previous threads, when I saw this truck in April on a trailer loaded and ready for trip to Chicago, the cladding was very rough but the blue looked pretty good. Cladding had a black, moldy look to it so I'm sure it was repainted.

I am very interested in this Ty and contacted the seller asking for undercarriage pictures which he did in fact send to me. After reviewing them I think I can confirm the dirt floor rumor and as suspected the undercarriage has some issues. The fuel line, drive and prop shafts, trans and oil pans as well as the frame have rust issues and the transfer cases and any aluminum has oxidation. I suggested that he reevaluate the condition and reconsider the value he has placed on this Ty. I asked him his bottom line number and he said $27,000. He also stated that if that was out of my range he would be listing a 93 white on white tonight that he is looking to get $21,500 for that has 39,000 miles. I informed him that I recently sold my black on black 93 with 30,000 original miles for $16,300 and made a couple of thousand on it of which I was the second owner and was in a private collection stored in climate controlled garage. Who wants to spend all that money and then have to do work on it. I am interested but the number needs to be realistic. When it was at Mecum the bidding faded at $19,000, I think maybe he should have let it go. What do you guys think?

Just weny on E-Bay and the seller sent me a message saying to make him an offer he can't refuse. Also that white on white 93 is now listed and I was mistaken , it has 36,000 miles not 39,000 and he is asking $21,900 not $21,500.

I sent the seller a question too and he said the same thing verbatim. I bid my highest (which is nowhere near the asking) and was countered back way above what I have to pay.

I responded to his message with an honest answer and that being since I am one who sells on E-Bay I di not want to insult him with a bid he would think was just that(I have had a few of those)so I asked him to throw his best deal my way and in the interim I contacted a friend of mine that was at the Mecum auctionand not only saw but was interested in purchasing this truck. He confirmed what I saw in the pictures the seller sent me and what someone here stated that the undercarriage of that truck is a mess and it is need of a lot of work. I then contacted the seller suggesting that he either restore or have it restored in order to fetch the numbers that he is seeking. I can not imagine someone paying in the 20's and then have to do all that work, even with the rare color and that amazing mileage.

Combating adversyty.
Mileage is supposed to be representative of the condition of the truck. It's an approximation but when the truck is in such bad shape, it's meaningless.

The guy is dreaming.

It sure does polish up nice. I bet they want a million dollar for it.....$8500 and that's my highest offer.

Yeah but I am not interested in it if its all rusty and problematic. It is easy to polish something up nice and hide all of the gremlins and rust. I think this one is going to be a major headache for someone.

I'd have to see it in person, but my gut feeling is that it won't be that nice."The Last Typhoon" only had 93 miles on it when it was at the first Homecoming(in MI,where it had always been),and I saw rust everywhere when I compare it to the 4400 mile TN truck I saw that you could lick the entire suspension and like it.

check out the IC coolant tube in the upper intake photo. that alone makes me wonder what the rest of the truck looks like

I agree. That is a very nice Royal Typhoon. It even has no roof rack. I think it would make someone who had the means to buy it happy.
