bad vibs

ran in to a problem last race I was on the gas and the brake about to launch
when their was a loud bang and the truck red lined. after still drove it hom but now has nasty vib. need so help only at low speed an under light load

What kind of help do you want? I you are willing to do the hard work and take off engine parts one by one, we could help you along the way with that. Or do you want someone to actually help you physically? Lots of things can go bang under the hood.

Just a guess but I say its the torque converter... Destined to fail in the very near future and put you in a nuetral state.. Only park will work.. You may get very slight movement forward and back once if goes all the way but you will need to rev very high...

Does it seem to lag and not have any power at lower RPMs? Does it then clunk once or twice while giving it gas then start to go like normal?
