Back to the sound in my drivetrain. Only after hard corner!

Sounds like a swishing bag under truck. Happened last night when i floored it and turned and then tonight going trough an s curve at about 50. drove another 2 miles listening and trying to feel for vibration and nothin then it just stopped! What could this be? Should I ignore it since it is not affecting driveability at all! TIA

I think i figured it out! Today went and did the same turn and floored it and did a nice 3 wheel burn and no sound! What did i change you ask? I put it in drive instead of OD. Today on highway still in D was going about 80 and shifted in OD and let off gas a little and shitty sound comin from D.T. slowed down to about 60 and put it in D then speed back up to 80 and let off the gas and nothin no shitty noise. The only thing I can figure is the OD must be going out. I mean if I accelarate in OD get grinding noise and sounds like shaking a bag of of chips sorta put it in D and do the same steps no noise! What do you think. Also is it normal to get a pop from the cv joints every once in a-while like when you cut the wheel kinda hard?

check your ball joints and torsion bar mounts if the ball joints are bad and you fly around a corner the wheel might be shiting far enougt to let the cv try to pop out of place as far as being in d or od you should keep it in d untill you hit about 45-50 mph my buddy blew his tranny from it beinf in od all the time

The only time i get the cv popping noise is like when i cut it to pull into a driveway or when turning around in a tight place, or doing a U turn in a tight spot. I have never heard it while actually driving and going through curves or anything.
Well I had never though about OD vs. D before which I have really never had a truely fast car! I mean I had a 95 GT mustang but thats nothin compared to these. Well I have a warrenty so I guess it's time to drive there and have them work on it! Mental note don't drive around in a high H.P. high Torque AWD car in OD anymore unless on highway!
None the less i raced a fox body stang last week when i pulled up next to him he laughed at me! I said on 3 I left it in OD he 5 speed dropped it down to 1 and blew him away from 20 roll shut down at 60 2 car lengths on him only runnin 5psi.
Anyway back to my question if you were doing a slow u turn would you get a small popping sound if you cut it till the wheel wouldn't turn anymore?

so worn ball joints can cause the cv joint to stretch too far? when i make a tight left, my cv joint pops (at least thats what i think it is) so i could jsut need new ball joints and not a half shaft?. would the torsion bar mounts also cause a clunking sound or is that the swooshing sound?

It'll cause the clunking sound. It was the torsion bar mount hitting the floor board on my truck. NAPA carries rubber mounts.
