I thought the front dash speakers were 4"x6". I could swear that is what I put in mine many years ago.

These are to deep if i remember correctly.. 4x6 is the right size tho

Ahhh....yes, the mounting depth in the dash is pretty shallow. The Blaupunkt 4x6's I installed pushed hard on the speaker grill where the tweeters are. Seems like small plates are the best option as you have already discovered....:tup:

It might have also been the bolt pattern.. Not sure, either way they didn't fit and I didn't try too hard. They've been sitting around for I wanna say 2 years now

I looked on ebay and they are going for 125 and 56 so you could make 50!!
