Are there metal areas cut out of the OEM head flanges or is it just poor photo quality? Kinda hard to see.

do these mount in the stock location, ie am i able to use a stock downpipe etc?

As far as I know they do. But I am not 100% sure.

I suppose it's a blow off flange. Idk for sure, I bought them that way.
