so im leaving my g/f's house tonight after going to the Cruise Night up in Freehold, NJ and a black trans am with a loud exhaust goes up the street, picks someone up, then goes back down the street, makes a left and heads out to the main road (Rt 9).
So I make a U turn to do the same so I can head home. I get to the light at the intersection of Rt 9 and pull up behind the TA. Windows are tinted so I couldnt really see in. Light turns green and he takes off rather quickly considering we were both making immediate left turns, but either way I follow and im about 10 car lengths back now.
He gets to the next red light ahead and has to stop (hes in the middle lane). I roll up to his quarter panel just as the light turns green and he punches it (which I was sorta expecting) so I did the same. I then kept gaining and gaining and finally passed him with not much problem at all, so I get off the gas and pass another motorist as I approach the next red light. The TA is now behind me.
Light turns green and I take off moderately fast, no boost launch or anything and as soon as there was enough room to get around the car next to me, he punched it, as did I He didnt stand a chance, sucked tailpipe the whole time (oh wait, I dont have a tailpipe, oh well).
So the third and final red light comes up and he's making a right turn and im going straight, so I roll down my window and look over. This kid has a big smile on his face as goes "damn that thing is fast" as his girlfriend chuckles in the passenger seat. I replied, "yeah, i try, I just wish I had really got on it" Light turned green and I took off and exited onto the highway.
