You can check it out here: http://www.syclone.freeserve.co.uk/ click "what's new" and then "group purchases and discounted goods". It is a pretty stealth set up. Helped install one in a Typhoon last summer. You have to grind the three plastic projections that hang down over the ashtray so the switches don't get caught on them. Pretty easy with a Dremel and sanding drums though. I have mine in my glovebox bacause I like having it behind one more lock. HTH

Please be aware that the GP for the ashtray switchplates ended last April (2001). I won't be able to make any more until after the Nats, and there will be a price hike (lost money on the last batch).
Also, this is not an outright purchase. It is a modification to your existing ashtray, and Ultimate chip (if you want that done). Unfortunately, from what I've heard, the ashtray is not available new from GM without buying an entire dashboard. So, some people have gone to the junkyard to get a second one rather than modify the original one.

I was gonna do this mod, but changed my mind.
I have a used ashtray w/ metal slide, for $20 plus shipping...probably needs touch up paint (it's used).

Qwikgmc -- Do you still have the part number? That would be a big help. One of my customers tried to get one from the dealer last August, and was told he had to buy the entire dash. He ended up getting one from a junkyard.
