Anyone ever........................

Put a powerglide into a syclone? Just wondering, because we are in the process of changing trans' to a glide. Wanted to know if anyone made a adaptor for the transferr case?? Any help would be appreciated.

As Jeff Scott if he plans to make an adapter for them.

He is doing the 4l80 now, and recently made an adapter for a 4L80 and Silverado transfercase, so I am sure he could handle making one.
Just a matter of is it worth it for one off.

He is doing the 4l80 now, and recently made an adapter for a 4L80 and Silverado transfercase, so I am sure he could handle making one.
Just a matter of is it worth it for one off.

shouldnt need anything more than another flange and output shaft, easy stuff for most any machinist.

Jeff Scott is me, but the parts probably already exist to do what you want to do as Waller has suggested, and Ken has mentioned he has one setup ready to go.

Just wondering the reason behind wanting to go that route.

:fist: Coan Haven't had too many problems with their transmissions, but their converters suck ass big time. Went through 4 of them last year in the Camaro. Only 1 trans last year. 3 our of the 4 converters, the sprague (sp) broke. Every time we would go Super Gas racing, break another converter. It turns out that the sprague in the Coan converters aren't solid, but do they bother to tell you they aren't. Nope, they just continue to rebuild their same pos at $400 a pop, not bothering to tell you their junk doesn't work with "super" racing. They can't handle the on the throttle, off, and back on. Never buying anything from Coan again.

Why do you want a powerglide?

Just two guy's trying to go as fast as they can with one of these trucks. I like the glide for turbo applications and we already have one too use.
