The weekend of august 14 is out for me, getting hitched :lol:, trying to get a syty caravan lined up for my wedding party transport to the reception, but with my transmission slipping in the white ty and the reliability of these trucks, i think a limo might be the way to go

If we can get it going that is.
I'd also be interested to find out how many of the Vancouver and WA State members would be interested in a meet perhaps in Mission. They've got a good track at sea level. Also if we can get a meet going here, maybe we can arrange to cruise up to Squamish (about 2 hour-ish drive from Mission) and have a day at a 4-wheel dyno up there.
Any thoughts on that scenario from some of the BC syty'ers?
If we can get it going that is.

Hey Lee, no I dont think I'll make it out there this weekend. Some stuff has come up with a friend and we gotta help her out this weekend.
btw, I've been meaning to message you. We found Jane's little bag of change in our cooler. We'll have to get that back to you next time we meet up.
Perhaps if the Edmonton guys cant make it down here, we could still have a North Western SyTy meet. I'll try posting this in the WA state section and see who would be interested in getting together for one.

I'm not planning anything for this year, I'm in for a meet though.
Going throught the planning, designing shirts and supplying trophies process and the assoiated cost involved I kinda feel like giving up I've had high hopes over the years for a great turnout based on the number of owners up here and every year it's kinda of a letdown. It's always ended up being a good meet with great people! But we can do that without all the other stuff..............

i do understand its alot of work and it does always seem to be the same handfull of people

Robyn was mentioning the other day that is would be nice even to just come out to Edmonton and meet up with everyone again. That may be a possiblity that we just arrange a meet and not worry about the shirts, trophies, etc. Could do racing at the Fri. Street Legals if people are still interested in that. Then a BBQ on Saturday or something.

Absolutely! I'm all for getting together for sure!!!
I just don't want to do the usual event and find out the day of who shows up.......ive still got shirts from the last 2 years, trying to make sure everyone gets one while I guess how many will actually show up.

Yes...i agree.Florida should also become another Canadian province.Did you guys know that in an average year roughly 3 millions Canadians will visit Florida.

Wow, 3 weeks flies by pretty quick... So what weekend in Sept. works for some of the Alberta members to get together? I think we're pretty open but if it's near the beginning we should nail down a date soon to get an extra day or two off.
