My dad has been volunteer since he was 18. I recently took the civil service test for 1 of 6 spots in our career department in the city. 1,700 of us took the test and they only accepted 40 to move on to CPAT. (they rank those 40 and put them on a hiring list, good for 2 years.) So i'm going back to try again in 2 years lol.

I have so much respect for what you guys do! I love just hanging/helping out at my dad volunteer department.
