Another trans question

Ok, I have another question about my trans install, I finally got the TC to fully seat on the input shaft, but it will not spin when it is fully seated. I can turn the trans output shaft by hand and I have tried changing gears but I cannot get the TC to turn at all. Again this trans is used (out of a Sy) but was working fine when removed last fall.

I want to install this trans so my Ty can move while I rebiuld my old trans.

Sounds like the pump is siezed. If the input shaft can be turned by hand, then the pump rotor is not letting the TC turn. This is provided the TC wasn't forced on damaging the pump. Those two little notches on the end of the TC engage the two little tabs on the pump just inside the tranny. Provided you KNOW the TC is ok, the pump has issues. Most likely from an overheat or metal shavings from some other failure.
