Im not 100% sure its a Sy, one of yall will...It has the Sy interior/bumper but the side cladding looks like Sonoma GT cladding..yall can be the judge.

Personaly im torn, cause I dont like the idea of tearin up a rare truck, but at the same time, i like. coulda been done with an s-10 i guess.

The finished product looks badass. The work-in-progress pictures never look good. The truck looks mean as hell in my opinion. Sweet.

I'd think twice about fucking with it. Of course I dont own a sy/ty either.

Is that even the same truck? lol. It looks like a resto with that picture compared to the first one. If they made the second one out of the first one, I'm glad they did it. If it still looks like the original pic, and they are 2 diff. trucks, then I'm still sad. :grin:

that didn't look too bad, but I am highly disappointed on the choice of the exhaust tip "fart can". Yes, I think it should have been a regular S-10.

Audiophile, the pic you posted is most likely the "before" picture. The rims in all the "in progress" pics would probably beon the final truck, as the size of the rim is very important for the drop. The ass of the truck in your pic is way higher than in the first pic posted.

Regardless, that is a shame, not to say it wasn't done well, but it's kinda like putting a huge shopping cart wing on a ferrari...its too rare of an automobile to chop up and make stupid looking.

It's the same truck. You can see the exhaust in this pic. The hood looks funny, too. It looks like the center is bolted/pinned/stuck on there.

FWIW

I do believe the grass pics are the originals. due to wheel differences and, the bike in the rear would probly hit the axle hump welded in, and that they woulda dropped it to the ground if they were taking pics. No doubt its lowered in those, but it isnt bagged yet.

Interesting custom hood that wraps over the front. Mirrors are dumb.

SoGT cladding has a hump for the exhaust to come out there, I dont think they modded that. Bad choice in exhaust.. same shit some retard put on my crx.. bro-speed(gaaaaaaay)

Add to that that (hydros) arent the best drag-race suspension, not to mention the GT's are pretty slow (ie..need some help). put a sy motor and it might be fun (read scrape bumper on launches). I wouldnt be afraid of it, even with the appearent mention of speed on the side with reflective stickers.

OK This is a serious question! Does ANYONE know where I can GET a piece of that cladding... the very piece on the GT that has the "cutout" for the exhaust... or does anyone know the GM part number for that piece?

diddnt some of the gt's have the exhaust out of the cladding like that. i seen the old guys in town that is stock, and his is rounded like that"minus the fart can"
