My name is Aaron, 31 and I live in Hertfordshire, England.
I recently purchased a '92 Ty, # 2355 -Frost White and Argent after looking for the right one to come along for about 10 years. I spent the past 5 years building a Cal Look VW from the ground up having almost given up on trying to find a Ty then two months after selling it, this one came along.
I got interested in them in about '90-91 after reading my dad's Hot Rod and Car & Driver magazines and originally wanted a Sy but being 6'10" that was a no-go unfortunately!
I'm eager to learn all the little quirks of these trucks and have been thrown into the fire earlier than I expected having my turbo get destroyed by a brittle and broken air intake tube. I hope to get this sorted soon and be back on the road. I intend to keep it completely stock and as it left the factory. It needs a few little things, but nothing major (yet!)
