Another alternator question

I saw this product on Napa's website, RAL134577FHO. and since my alternator took a shit on me, I am leaning towards a higher output. This one is 140amp and has a note to purchase an upgraded wiring package.

Do I need to purchase the upgraded cable as it says? I know some people are running 200+ and need cables/additional clearance, so I'm confused.

you need a bigger guage wire to run back to the alternator.as far as the regulator wires those will be fine.
